The Fred Hutch/University of Washington Cancer Consortium has announced new leadership.
Mignon Loh, MD, and Elizabeth M. Swisher, MD, will serve as deputy directors.
Loh is director of Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research and chief of the division of pediatric hematology, oncology, bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy at Seattle Children’s. Swisher is director of the division of gynecologic oncology at UW Medicine.
Loh and Swisher replace prior deputy director Nancy E. Davidson, MD. Davidson will continue to serve as senior vice president and director of Fred Hutch’s clinical research division, president and executive director of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and chief of medical oncology at University of Washington.
Marion Dorer, PhD, MBA, vice president of research administration at Fred Hutch, also has been appointed associate director of shared resources for the consortium.
The consortium is composed of Fred Hutch, University of Washington, Seattle Children’s and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Its catchment area includes the entire state of Washington.
