In her new role, she will lead Roswell Park’s effort to build bridges between researchers and the community, highlighting the cultural diversity at the institution and in the surrounding area. She also will serve as a resource and provide support for Roswell Park research and clinical faculty from underrepresented groups.

“Dr. Rodriguez is a faculty champion who has already been a great resource for her colleagues,” Candace S. Johnson, PhD, president and CEO of Roswell Park, said in a press release. “She is an outstanding researcher who has committed her career to overcoming health disparities, and will be an incredible asset and support for all of us in this new position.”
