Lorna Rodriguez-Rodriguez, MD, PhD, has been invited to join The Carol Emmott Fellowship Class of 2021.

The 14-month program recognizes exceptional, innovative women leaders who are making lasting change at their institutions and in their communities.

Rodriguez-Rodriguez is vice chair of surgery and professor of gynecologic oncology at City of Hope. She specializes in ovarian cancer, and her research has helped improve the understanding of the role of the CD44 receptor in multidrug resistance.

She also is part of City of Hope’s Enterprise Leadership Team and the Governance Committee at COH for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Rodriguez-Rodriguez previously held positions at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, University of Rochester and Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
