The University of Texas MD Anderson named 10 early-career faculty members to its fifth annual class of Andrew Sabin Family Fellows.

The fellowship program — established in 2015 — encourages creativity, innovation and impactful cancer research.

Each investigator will receive $100,000 over 2 years.

This year’s fellows are:

  • Caroline Chung, MD, associate professor in the department of radiation oncology;
  • Carrie Daniel-MacDougall, PhD, associate professor in the department of epidemiology;
  • Michael Green, PhD, associate professor of in the department of lymphoma and myeloma;
  • Traver Hart, PhD, assistant professor in the department of bioinformatics and computational biology;
  • Jian Hu, PhD, associate professor in the department of cancer biology;
  • Kathrin Milbury, PhD, associate professor in the department of behavioral science;
  • Nicolas Palaskas, MD, assistant professor in the department of cardiology;
  • Christine Parseghian, MD, assistant professor in the department of gastrointestinal medical oncology;
  • Koichi Takahashi, MD, PhD, assistant professor in the department of leukemia; and
  • Chad Tang, MD, assistant professor in the department of radiation oncology.
