In this video, Jyoti D. Patel, MD, associate vice chair for clinical research and professor of medicine at Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine, spoke with Healio about presentations in lung cancer being presented at the virtual ASCO Annual Meeting.

“There are multiple high profile and practice-changing presentations at ASCO this year,” Patel said.

One interesting presentation Patel noted was the CheckMate 227 trial, which she said implemented a chemotherapy/immunotherapy technique that was “very analogous” to the approach demonstrated in her presentation. The findings from the CheckMate trial recently led to an FDA approval, Patel said.

She also highlighted data from the ADAURA trial, which was much anticipated by many experts.
