Jeffrey Farma

Jeffrey Farma, MD, has been appointed chief of the division of general surgery within the department of surgery at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Farma, a surgical oncologist, specializes in treatment of colorectal cancer, melanoma and sarcoma, as well as minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

Farma joined Fox Chase’s division of general surgery in 2009. He holds several other leadership positions at Fox Chase, including serving as director of its melanoma and skin cancer program.

He has served as Society of Surgical Oncology’s fellowship program director since 2013, and he is a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network panel on nonmelanoma skin cancer.
