HemOnc Today and Healio.com/HemOnc will provide live coverage of the Chemotherapy Foundation Symposium, which will be held Nov. 8-10 in New York.

The 35th annual conference — which typically attracts more than 2,000 oncologists, hematologists, immunologists, nurses, physician assistants and other members of the care team — will highlight state-of-the-art treatments for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.

Program co-chairs are Adam M. Brufsky, MD, PhD, professor of medicine and associate chief of the division of hematology/oncology, co-director of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center and associate director of clinical investigation at University of Pittsburgh, as well as a HemOnc Today Editorial Board member; Benjamin Levy, MD, clinical director of medical oncology at Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center and Sibley Memorial Hospital; and William Oh, MD, chief of the division of hematology and medical oncology, professor of medicine and urology, and professor in clinical cancer therapeutics at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as well as associate director of clinical research at The Tisch Cancer Institute.

The faculty will share the latest developments in cancer therapeutics, diagnostics and supportive strategies.

Topics at this year’s symposium will include clinical applications for immunotherapy in cancer care, the incorporation of minimal residual disease into treatment plans for patients with hematologic malignancies, precision care for patients with lung cancer, novel therapeutic approaches for patients with breast cancer, and strategies to optimize patients’ quality of life.
