He later served as co-leader of the carcinogenesis program at Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at University of California, Irvine, as well as chair of pathology and laboratory medicine at University of Rochester and leader of the solid tumor program at the university’s Wilmot Cancer Institute. He joined Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2015.
