Healio.com — the online home of HemOnc Today — has launched LearnImmunoOncology.com, a curriculum-based online resource that offers physicians a guide for understanding advances in immuno-oncology.

The site officially was unveiled at Learn Immuno-Oncology New York, a one-day interactive, educational event held March 23.

LearnImmunoOncology.com is led by Robert H.I. Andtbacka, MD, CM, FACS, FRCSC, associate professor of surgical Oncology at University of Utah and co-director of the melanoma clinical research program at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

“Understanding the availability of approved and emerging treatment technologies is essential in this rapidly evolving field of care,” said Andtbacka, a HemOnc Today Editorial Board member. “LearnImmunoOncology.com will provide physicians with a resource for truly understanding these therapies and how to apply them to practice.”

Through curriculum-based module learning and assessments, physicians and other health care practitioners will learn about the basics of tumor immunotherapy, as well as therapeutic approaches, clinical indications, adverse effects and more.
