The Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association inducted its inaugural fellows class at the group’s annual conference in April.

The fellows were selected based on their sustained contributions to the association and their exceptional performance in oncology pharmacy.

The fellows class included:

  • Barry R. Goldspiel , PharmD , BCOP, BCPS, FHOPA, acting chief at the NIH Clinical Center Pharmacy Department and past president of the association;
  • R. Donald Harvey, PharmD , FCCP, BCOP, FHOPA, associate professor in the department of hematology and medical oncology and director of the phase 1 clinical trials section at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University;
  • Lisa M. Holle , PharmD , BCOP, FHOPA, assistant clinical professor at UConn School of Pharmacy;
  • Philip E. Johnson, MS, RPh , FASHP, FHOPA, who spent 26 years as pharmacy director at Moffitt Cancer Center;
  • LeAnne Kennedy, PharmD , BCOP, CPP, FHOPA, clinical specialist for stem cell transplant at Wake Forest Baptist Health;
  • Jim M. Koeller , MS, FHOPA, full professor and member of the Center for Pharmacoeconomic Studies in the College of Pharmacy at University of Texas at Austin;
  • Susannah E. Koontz, PharmD , BCOP, FHOPA, principal at Koontz Oncology Consulting LLC;
  • Cindy L. O’Bryant , PharmD , BCOP, FCCP, FHOPA, associate professor with the department of clinical pharmacy at University of Colorado School Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and past president of the association;
  • Kellie Jones Weddle, PharmD , BCOP, FCCP, FHOPA, clinical professor of pharmacy practice at Purdue University College of Pharmacy; and
  • Casey Williams, PharmD , BCOP, FHOPA, is director of Avera Center for Precision Oncology and the department of molecular and experimental medicine at Avera Cancer Institute.
