Kai Tan

Tan, who is bringing his laboratory staff with him from University of Iowa, focuses on genomic and epigenomic mechanisms that regulate gene transcription in the development of cancer. He has pioneered the development of novel computational strategies and systems biology to identify molecular events — such as enhancer-promoter interactions — that drive cancers.
