Ann B. Nattinger, MD, MPH, has been named senior associate dean for research at Medical College of Wisconsin.

Nattinger will focus on evolving new research and providing the highest quality of service to the college’s faculty and staff members who conduct basic, clinical and translational research.  

Nattinger — the Lady Riders breast cancer research professor, chief of general internal medicine, and director of the Center for Patient Care and Outcomes Research at the college — is a nationally recognized cancer health services researcher. She focuses on breast cancer treatment, survivorship and outcomes. 

Her scientific interests include evaluating the quality of surveillance care for breast cancer survivors and developing strategies for physicians to improve the use of screening mammography by their patients.
