Niesha Griffith, RPh, MS, FASHP, has been elected president of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association for 2013-2014.

Griffith has been a member of the association since its inception in 2004. She has served as chair of the legislative committee and was a member of the board for 2 years prior to her appointment as president.

Griffith is the director of pharmacy and infusion services at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center — James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

She manages inpatient and outpatient oncology pharmacy services and the health system’s medication assistance program. She also is director of the health system pharmacy administration residency and lectures as a clinical assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.
