Otis W. Brawley
Otis W. Brawley, MD, FACP, FASCO, received the 2013 Special Recognition Award.
The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions in clinical oncology, cancer research, reimbursement and patient advocacy.
Brawley is chief medical and scientific officer for the American Cancer Society. He also is professor of hematology, oncology, medicine and epidemiology at Emory University.
