VIDEO: Scrubs & Heels Summit fosters supportive environment for GI career growth
MIAMI — In a Healio video exclusive, Raluca Vrabie, MD, of New York University Langone Health, shares what inspired her to attend the inaugural Scrubs & Heels Summit for women in gastroenterology.
“I’m here because I had a large IBD program at NYU Long Island, and I'm looking for tips on how to start it again somewhere else. I was very excited to listen to Anita Afzali’s presentation about her successes at Ohio State,” Vrabie said. “I love to see how other women succeed and how women mentor other women. I'm really happy to be here to participate in this initiative for women to learn from each other and support each other in their GI career growth.”
