In this exclusive video, Stephen B. Hanauer, MD, medical director of the Digestive Health Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, discusses misinformation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

He told Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease that there has been false information spread about the availability of personal protective equipment and testing. He also warned against “premature” information about the efficacy of drugs, like hydroxychloroquine.
