VIDEO: AIBD offers attendees ‘real-world’ approach to managing IBD
ORLANDO — In this exclusive video from Advances in IBD 2018, Miguel Regueiro, MD, chair of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the Cleveland Clinic, discusses some of the main aspects and highlights of the meeting.
Regueiro, who is also a co-chair of Advances in IBD 2018, said clinical practicality is one thing that differentiates AIBD from other meetings.
“For the practitioner in the audience, we try to incorporate evidence that are from studies and how we practice to manage our patients,” he told Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. “... by doing that, I think we give a real-world approach to the management of IBD.”
