PHILADELPHIA — In this exclusive video perspective from the American College of Gastroenterology Annual Meeting, Anthony Borrelli, executive director of product and marketing at Fujifilm Medical Systems, USA, discusses the company’s newest endoscopic imagining devices, including the Eluxeo system.

“We now offer a comprehensive line of rigid endoscopes for a broad range of endoscopic – and now surgical – imaging applications,” he told Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. “Most recently, we just introduced our Eluxeo platform in conjunction with our 700 series, which are colonoscope and gastroscopes that feature our [blue light imaging, BLI], [linked color imaging, LCI] and white light technology.”

The Eluxeo platform includes four LEDs that can produce the three different light outputs — BLI, LCI and white light — offering endoscopists a better view during procedures.

“It allows physicians to see mucosa differently,” Borrelli said. “And more importantly, to see changes in anatomy that may results in a faster path to diagnosis.”
