AUSTIN, Texas — In this exclusive video perspective from GI Outlook 2018, Costas H. Kefalas, MD, MMM, FACG, FASGE, AGAF, of Akron Digestive Disease Consultants, gives a rundown on some of the highlights of the 2018 edition of GI Outlook, presented by the ASGE.
“One of the things I learned from each of those lectures was how important integrity is for a leader,” he told Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. “It’s almost the cornerstone of all the other leadership qualities that a leader possesses.”
In addition to the lectures on leadership, Kefalas said sessions detailing MACRA and physician burnout were particularly informative and thought provoking.
