CHICAGO — In this exclusive video from Digestive Disease Week, Raymond Cross, MD, associate professor of medicine in the department of gastroenterology and hepatology, and director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, discusses his presentation on ethics in telemedicine.

“I’d love to say that the field is going to expand rapidly; certainly the investment in telehealth is increasing dramatically, but I still think there are a number of hurdles as far as security, privacy, regulations, credentialing, licensing and billing, that are really impeding progress in this important area,” he said.
