ORLANDO — Beginning Thursday, Dec. 10, Healio Gastroenterology will provide live coverage from the 2015 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Clinical and Research Conference, at the Hilton Orlando.

Endorsed by ACG, AGA, NASPGHAN and the British Society of Gastroenterology, the conference takes place from Dec. 10 to Dec. 12 and features a four-track program designed for clinicians, researchers and other health professionals who study and treat patients with IBD.

Co-chaired by Richard P. MacDermott, MD, AGAF, MACG, FACG, from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and Stephen B. Hanauer, MD, AGAF, FACG, from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, the conference faculty roster includes 60 established experts in the field of IBD, including Healio Gastroenterology Peer Perspective Board members Gary R. Lichtenstein, MD, AGAF, FACG, from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Francis Farraye, MD, MSc, AGAF, FACG, from Boston University School of Medicine, and David T. Rubin, MD, AGAF, from University of Chicago Medicine.

“As the rate of people with IBD increases worldwide, we are keeping up with the increasing needs that health care providers have,” MacDermott said on the conference website. “Our 2.5-day meeting in December will cover all of the important approaches to both the basic and the advanced care of the IBD patient, as well as recent advances in cutting edge clinical research.”
