ORLANDO — In this video exclusive, Osagie Ebekozien, MD, MPH, CPHQ, chief medical officer at T1D Exchange, describes how the organization is moving research into practice.

Among the work being done by T1D Exchange is exploring how to ready practices for screening and preventing type1 diabetes, how to improve outcomes in different populations and how to better train clinicians and patients on diabetes technologies and new therapies. The organization is also reaching out to primary care providers working with type 2 diabetes.

“Health equity [is] a big focus of ours. ... We’re all passionate to ensure that all of these therapies, all of this great work, gets to everyone in practice, [everyone] gets the benefit of these new resources,” Ebekozien told Healio.
