Shah, associate professor of medicine and pediatrics in the adult clinic of the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, gave a presentation at the Cardiometabolic Health Congress on “connected insulin pens, some of the simple patch pumps and the automated insulin delivery systems” for patients with type 2 diabetes, in whom less is known about the use of such systems compared with patients with type 1 diabetes.
