SANTA FE, N.M. — In this video exclusive, E. Michael Lewiecki, MD, FACE, FACP, describes Bone Health ECHO, a virtual community of physicians who review osteoporosis and bone-disease cases together each week via video conferencing.

Lewiecki is director of the New Mexico Clinical Research & Osteoporosis Center and director of Bone Health ECHO at the University of New Mexico Health Science Center in Albuquerque.

The program originated at the University of New Mexico in 2015 and today 16 programs exist worldwide, according to Lewiecki.
