NEW ORLEANS — In part 2 of this video exclusive, James R. Gavin III, MD, PhD, talks with Anne L. Peters, MD, about a nonprofit model for expanding access to diabetes care.

Gavin is clinical professor of medicine at Emory University and chief medical officer of Healing Our Village. He is a Healio | Endocrine Today Co-Editor. Peters is professor of clinical medicine at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and an Endocrine Today Editorial Board Member.

“We need to create bigger systems, we need to create enduring models ... that extend beyond us,” Peters said.
