PHILADELPHIA — In this video exclusive, George Grunberger, MD, FACP, FACE, chairman of the Grunberger Diabetes Institute, provides an update on the 2019 American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists/American College of Endocrinology 2019 Comprehensive Type 2 Diabetes Management Algorithm.

The update, released earlier this year, is a comprehensive clinical guide that addresses diabetes prevention, recommended treatment options, lifestyle modification, reduction of cardiovascular risk factors, obesity and more, according to Grunberger, who is also clinical professor of internal medicine and molecular medicine and genetics at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
