U.S. News & World Report ranked the nation’s leading pediatric hospitals, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia received the No. 1 spot in pediatric diabetes and endocrinology.

The top-rated hospitals in the 2017-18 report for the field of pediatric diabetes and endocrinology are as follows:

  1. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
  2. Boston Children's Hospital
  3. Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC
  4. Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital
  5. Children's Hospital Los Angeles
  6. Texas Children's Hospital
  7. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
  8. Children's Hospital Colorado
  9. New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley-Komansky Children's Hospital
  10. UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals

CHOP also received the No. 2 spot on the Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll, which ranks pediatric centers that provide high-quality care in three or more specialties. Boston Children’s Hospital took the top spot on this list.

In addition to the top position in the pediatric diabetes and endocrinology specialty, CHOP ranked first in pulmonology, second in gastroenterology and GI surgery, neonatology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics and urology, and third in cancer.
