ATLANTA — In this video exclusive, Robert Blank, MD, PhD, an Endocrine Today Editorial Board member and chief of endocrinology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, explains why the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research annual meeting is his preferred professional conference.

In addition to catching up with colleagues and the latest in bone research, Blank attended the full-day symposium on “bone-omics,” including genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomic and metabolomics all related to bone disease. Researchers discussed how these fields translate into new drugs and personalized medicine. “It was very high tech and exciting,” Blank said.
