ORLANDO, Fla. — In this video, incoming AACE President Pauline Camacho, MD, FACE, discusses her career and journey to the top position in the association. Camacho is only the third woman to serve as president in the organization’s 25-year history and keynote speaker for the annual AACE women’s luncheon.

Despite the challenges of a busy academic practice and rearing three children, Camacho said she has no regrets about adding to her responsibilities, and she encourages other women to do the same.

“Fifteen years ... with this organization — I’ve learned so much about leadership,” Camacho said. “As a woman in this role, we have a lot to offer.”
