CLEVELAND — While new treatments for cutaneous lupus are on the horizon, sunscreen remains the best way to offset effects, according to J. Michelle Kahlenberg, MD, PhD.
Kahlenberg, associate professor of internal medicine and dermatology, Giles Boles and Dorothy Mulkey Research Professor of Rheumatology and vice chair of basic and translational research at University of Michigan, delivered two talks about cutaneous lupus at the Cleveland Clinic’s Medical Dermatology Therapy Update III meeting discussing the current and future treatment options.
