CLEVELAND — Dermatomyositis treatment options could grow exponentially in the next few years, according to David Fiorentino, MD, PhD, professor of dermatology at Stanford University.
Patients with dermatomyositis have had limited treatment options in the past, Fiorentino said in this video perspective from the Medical Dermatology Therapy Update III meeting. However, with clinical trials underway exploring a multitude of pathways, these options could expand greatly soon.
“The future has never looked brighter for dermatomyositis patients,” Fiorentino said.
