In this video, Raj Chovatiya, MD, PhD, discussed research into the interleukin-13 blocker lebrikizumab from the Maui Derm 2024 meeting, examining data into its use in treating atopic dermatitis.

Chovatiya, assistant professor of dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, discussed studies looking at elderly patients and a phase 3B study looking at patients with skin of color.

“It’s a very early interim analysis, but one of the best examples we have of taking a look at diverse populations with atopic dermatitis in a systemic study,” Chovatiya said.
