From Feb. 9 to 12 at Miami Beach, Healio will be covering the latest updates and brand-new topics at 2023 South Beach Symposium, a premier medical and aesthetic dermatology conference.

With SBS celebrating its 21st year, this exclusive event will feature both new and foundational topics. Among the familiar topics are the 2023 Cutaneous Oncology Symposium led by SBS co-chair David J. Goldberg, MD, JD, and colleagues, as well as the Hair Loss Restoration Track led by session director and LiVDerm advisory board member Brett A. King, MD, PhD, and other experts.

The ever-popular live patient facial injections and device demonstrations will also be making a front-stage appearance as one of the most anticipated features of SBS, where attendees can partake in an interactive learning experience.

In addition to these crowd favorites, the conference has ensured the introduction of brand-new topics that will add great value to physician’s portfolio as they identify emerging trends and gaps in patient care. The first of these topics is Women and Dermatologic Disease, which will feature Jennifer L. Hsiao, MD, and Alicia J. Little, MD, PhD, discussing women-specific dermatology issues including pregnancy-related skin conditions and treatment options for vulvar dermatoses.

Presented by session director Christopher Bunick, MD, PhD, SBS senior planning committee member, Applications Of Genomics And How It Impacts Patient Care will also be making its debut as a session that focuses on new innovations and education in cosmetic dermatology and genomics.

On Feb. 10, Klint Peebles, MD, will lead the Sexual and Gender Diverse Dermatology Summit to take a closer look at the dermatological and aesthetic needs of this population. All of this and more comprises a comprehensive SBS 2023 agenda for the medical and aesthetic dermatology community.
