Healio and LiVDerm are continuing their media partnership for the 21st annual South Beach Symposium taking place in Miami Beach from Feb. 9 to 12.

Led by the industry’s key opinion leaders, South Beach Symposium (SBS) provides practitioners with top tier continuing education in medical and aesthetic dermatology. With interactive lectures, live demonstrations and robust Q&A sessions, this event has become known as the most comprehensive dermatology conference in the Miami area. Joining forces once again, Healio and LiVDerm look forward to delivering this much-anticipated experience to the dermatology community.

Healio and LiVDerm are continuing their media partnership for this year’s South Beach Symposium taking place in Miami Beach from Feb. 9 to 12.

“The goals of Healio and LiVDerm are aligned. Both entities seek to serve the educational and content needs of practicing dermatologic physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other advanced practice providers,” Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, Healio’s chief content officer, said. “Healio is excited to provide live coverage of this premier educational event.”

The symposium agenda includes a plethora of topics oriented toward new and seasoned professionals, including the 2023 Aesthetic Update led by SBS planning committee member Glynis R. Ablon, MD, which will feature the newest developments in aesthetic rejuvenation procedures.

Additional offerings include a 1-hour session with Janus kinase inhibitor pioneer and LiVDerm advisory board member, Brett A. King, MD, PhD, as he discusses the targeted therapies for alopecia areata, as well as a comprehensive session with Peter A. Lio, MD, also a LiVDerm advisory board member, for everything regarding atopic dermatitis.

SBS 2023 offers this and more to equip clinicians with valuable knowledge and connections that will last throughout their careers. Healio will join LiVDerm in Miami Beach, along with attendees, faculty and industry representatives, for this immersive educational experience.
