Restylane Kysse shows positive ‘kissability’ score in phase 4 study
Individuals who received Restylane Kysse lip fillers reported subject and partner satisfaction, according to phase 4 study results.
Restylane Kysse (Galderma) is an injectable hyaluronic acid lip filler. The phase 4 Kissability study collected questionnaires sent to subjects older than 21 years of age in a steady relationship of at least 6 months and their partners.
It evaluated a subject-assessed Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale at week 8, as well as independent photographic review of naturalness of expression, age and lip texture, according to a press release.
Data from the questionnaires showed 96% of subjects found their lips had a natural look and 87% felt more attractive after the fillers, while 98% of subjects reported they were satisfied with the kissability of their lips.
“The phase 4 Kissability study helps answer the ongoing question from patients to their aesthetic provider: ‘How will my partner react?’ The data from this study supports that Restylane Kysse resulted in overwhelmingly positive partner satisfaction with both kissability and appearance,” Janelle Vega, MD, a board-certified dermatologist, said in the release.
