FDA approves Restylane Kysse lip filler

Restylane Kysse has been approved by the FDA for lip augmentation and the correction of upper perioral rhytids, Galderma announced in a press release.

Restylane Kysse lasts for up to 1 year and is the first hyaluronic acid filler with XpresHAn technology indicated specifically for the lips, the release said.

“Restylane Kysse is a new lip filler that offers key attributes both providers and their patients desire in a lip injection — high satisfaction, consistent results and a proven clinical safety profile,” Alisa Lask, general manager and vice president of the U.S. aesthetic business at Galderma, said in the release. “We are confident that Restylane Kysse will become a leading lip filler in the dynamic U.S. market.”

Galderma is evaluating the appropriate timing to launch the lip filler.
