Dermatology is gearing up for the upcoming 18th Annual South Beach Symposium in Miami Beach, Florida, from Feb. 6 to 9, 2020.
The annual conference has an extensive agenda, with in-depth preconference offerings and session topics covering the latest knowledge in clinical and aesthetic dermatology.
Rooted in an outcomes-focused approach to dermatology treatment, South Beach Symposium represents a shift toward patient-centered dermatology care.
The event will start with two advanced CME/CE 1-day preconference sessions Feb. 6, highlighting two of the industry’s most pressing and in-demand areas.
The Masters of Pediatric Dermatology Symposium will center on the latest treatment approaches, protocols, procedures and tools needed to support children with dermatologic conditions. With up to six CME/CE credits available, this symposium is designed to help practitioners provide better, more personalized care for a younger population of patients.
The Cutaneous Oncology Symposium will bridge the gap between advanced dermatology and oncology care among patients with skin cancer. Provided in partnership with the American Cutaneous Oncology Society, this new preconference offering will take an in-depth look into the latest advancements and clinical research surrounding advanced skin cancer diagnosis, treatment and management.
The conference offers a renowned faculty lineup consisting of the industry’s leading authorities, including George Hruza, MD, MBA, FAAD, president of the American Academy of Dermatology, Diane Berson, MD, past president of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and Neal Bhatia, MD, incoming vice president-elect of the American Academy of Dermatology.
