Dermatology is gearing up for the upcoming South Beach Symposium in Miami Beach, Florida, Feb. 6-9, 2020.

The annual conference has an extensive agenda, with in-depth preconference offerings and sessions topics covering the latest knowledge in clinical and aesthetic dermatology. Rooted in an outcomes-focused approach to dermatology treatment, South Beach Symposium represents a shift toward patient-centered dermatology care.

The event will start with two advanced CME/CE 1-day preconference sessions on Feb. 6, highlighting two of the industry’s most pressing and in-demand areas.

The Masters of Pediatric Dermatology Symposium will focus on the latest treatment approaches, protocols, procedures and tools needed to support children with dermatologic conditions. With up to 6 CME/CE credits available, this symposium is designed to help practitioners provide better, more personalized care for a younger population of patients.

The Cutaneous Oncology Symposium will bridge the gap between advanced dermatology and oncology care in patients with skin cancer. Provided in partnership with the American Cutaneous Oncology Society, this new preconference offering will take an in-depth look into the latest advancements and clinical research surrounding advanced skin cancer diagnosis, treatment and management.

The conference has a renowned faculty lineup of the industry’s leading authorities, including George Hruza, MD, MBA, FAAD, president, American Academy of Dermatology; Diane Berson, MD, past president, Women’s Dermatologic Society; and Neal Bhatia, MD, incoming vice president-elect, American Academy of Dermatology.

Designed to serve as an actionable aid for dermatology practitioners, the South Beach Symposium will deliver valuable insider knowledge through a variety of educational formats including interactive Q&A sessions, didactic lectures and live demonstrations. Created, developed and led by leading industry experts, sessions will cover the most relevant topics in clinical and aesthetic dermatology including clinical procedural complications, treatment updates in hair restoration, devices and treatments in aesthetics, innovations in clinical therapeutics, atopic dermatitis, the spectrum of eczema and more.
