ThermiRF receives marketing clearance in Brazil

Thermi announced it has received clearance to market and distribute ThermiRF in Brazil, the second-largest world market for aesthetics.
The temperature-controlled radiofrequency platform is used in a wide range of aesthetic applications and includes ThermiVa, ThermiSmooth Face, ThermiRase and ThermiTight. The ThermiRF system has been cleared by the FDA for dermatologic and general surgical procedures for electrocoagulation and hemostasis and to create lesions in nervous tissue, according to a news release from Thermi.
MedSystems will partner with Thermi to be the exclusive distributor of the ThermiRF products in Brazil’s cosmetic market, according to the release.
Thermi is an Amirall company.
