MemoryGel Xtra silicone gel-filled breast implants gain FDA approval

The MemoryGel Xtra silicone gel-filled breast implants received FDA approval today, according to a statement from Mentor Worldwide LLC, manufacturer of the implants.

The company also announced that the Artoura Breast Tissue Expander with a Smooth Shell also would be available in the U.S., according to the statement.

The expander enables the selection process and is available in two projections that can match with corresponding MemoryShape and MemoryGel options. – by Rob Volansky
