VIDEO: AAD launches SkinSerious campaign

ORLANDO, Fla. — In a video perspective from the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, Karen Edison, MD, FAAD, discusses the AAD’s SkinSerious campaign.

Edison, chair of the AAD’s Access to Dermatology Committee and SkinSerious Campaign Work Group, along with Henry W. Lim, MD, FAAD, president of the AAD, helped launch the campaign during a press conference at the annual meeting.

The campaign, supported by data from the updated Burden of Skin Disease in the United States report, raises awareness of the breadth of serious skin diseases and the role that dermatologists play.
