ORLANDO, Fla. — In a video perspective from the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, Seemal R. Desai, MD, FAAD, discusses talks he gave on treating psoriasis, melasma and other pigmentation disorders in skin of color.

Desai, a clinical assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and president of the Skin of Color Society, also discussed cosmetic treatment in skin of color, including chemical peels, photodynamic therapy and, as a third-line treatment, low-fluence laser treatment for melasma.
