South Beach Symposium to feature industry CEO roundtable, new products

Along with live workshops and educational presentations from top industry leaders, the 15th annual South Beach Symposium, scheduled for Feb. 9 to 12 in Miami, will feature a panel roundtable of CEO’s from leading aesthetics and dermatology companies as well as showcase new products in the pipeline, according to a press release.

On Feb. 11 the symposium will host a CEO panel roundtable with prominent leaders from Allergan, Almirall, Aclaris Pharmaceuticals, Galderma, Sensus Healthcare, Sinclair Pharma and Valeant Pharmaceuticals invited to present.

A hallmark of the symposium includes the “Futures in Innovations” session that will showcase recent industry innovations, new products in the pipeline, various innovations coming to the market and how physicians can incorporate these products and treatments into their practice.

According to Mark S. Nestor, MD, PhD, symposium chair, who spoke with Healio.com/Aesthetics, some of the innovations and products that will be presented include a number of new fillers recently approved by the FDA, recently approved biologics for psoriasis and atopic dermatitis and novel data on some new cosmeceutical skin care lines, all of which will be presented for the first time at the symposium. – by Talitha Bennett
