LOS ANGELES — At Plastic Surgery The Meeting, Kamakshi R. Zeidler, MD, FACS, a plastic surgeon practicing in Campbell, California, reviews her presentation of AeroForm, a novel tissue expander for breast reconstruction from AirXpanders.

The needle-free technology can be operated by the patient after surgery to allow a safe amount of control and eliminate the need for multiple office visits.

The device that uses CO2 as a filling medium was found comparable to a saline expander with a faster average expansion time during two-stage breast reconstruction.
