Noncultured cellular grafting successfully achieves repigmentation for vitiligo
Repigmentation was maintained up to 60 months in more than 80% of patients with vitiligo who were treated with noncultured cellular grafting, according to published study results.
Researchers reviewed data for 177 patients (mean age, 34.4 years; 54.8% female) with vitiligo who underwent noncultured cellular grafting between March 2006 and December 2012 at the National Skin Center in Singapore. Read more

Combination therapy with topical calcineurin inhibitors and excimer laser/light was more effective than excimer laser/light monotherapy in treating vitiligo, according to the study results.
Researchers in Korea conducted searches of Medline, Embase and Cochrane databases from inception through Dec. 15, 2014, to identify randomized controlled trials assessing the efficacy of excimer laser/light (EL) alone or in combination with topical agents for vitiligo. Read more

The onset of vitiligo may be associated with clinical benefit in patients with metastatic melanoma who were treated with Keytruda, according to study results published in JAMA Dermatology.
