Women who underwent primary breast augmentation had low risk for skin and nipple sensation changes and lactation issues, according to study results recently published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.

Fewer complications seen with oncoplastic breast reconstruction in obese patients
Obese patients who underwent oncoplastic breast reconstruction after mastectomy experienced fewer major complications compared with patients who underwent immediate breast reconstruction, according to recent data.
“This finding supports the role of oncoplastic breast reconstruction in the treatment of obese patients, particularly in patients with medical comorbid conditions and higher degrees of obesity,” Winnie M. Galderma, Mentor announce collaboration on facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation
Galderma and Mentor Worldwide LLC announced in a press release a nationwide collaboration to partner with surgeons for advancing patient experiences across the companies’ facial rejuvenation and breast augmentation brand offerings.
The collaboration incudes Galderma’s aesthetic brands, including Restylane fillers, Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) 300 units for injection and Sculptra Aesthetic, along with Mentor MemoryShape and MemoryGel breast implants portfolio for the U.S. aesthetics market, according to the release. Read more
