WASHINGTON – In a video perspective, Amy J. McMichael, MD, discusses research presented at the Skin of Color Society meeting.

Research presented at the meeting, which was held the day before the start of the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, included treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids, as well as mycosis fungoides, a form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

McMichael, professor and chair of the Department of Dermatology, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is president of the society.
