“The need for dermatology services has accelerated in recent years due to an aging population, a growing demand for surgical and cosmetic procedures and a raised awareness of the seriousness of skin cancer,” Krakowski stated in the release. “To that end, DermOne is helping to remove access barriers for patients and has redefined the practice support standard for dermatologists. DermOne is enabling practice advantages through access to efficient centralized systems and processes.”
Krakowski, an appointed member of the National Pediatric Acne Guidelines Initiative, helped to produce evidence-based clinical guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment for pediatric acne, which were endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and were published in May 2013 in Pediatrics. He also recently received the Dermatology from the Heart award for his pioneering scar revision program, according to the release.
