VIDEO: Minimizing scars in linear reconstructions on the face

CHICAGO — In this video perspective, Joseph Sobanko, MD, discusses optimal design of linear reconstructions on the face at the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery annual meeting.

Sobanko, an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania, discussed five principals of design and execution of linear reconstructions to minimize scarring.

“These are principals we know about, but when we adhere to all of them, we can achieve excellent cosmetic results, with the hope of having our parents report excellent outcomes,” he told Healio.com.
