Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT acquires health care properties totaling over $113M

Multiple health care real estate properties were recently acquired by Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II, for an aggregate purchase price of more than $113 million.

With the recent additions, CVMC REIT II assets total more than $325 million, based on purchase price.

The seven acquired properties are located throughout Kentucky, Maine, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. At one facility, Reading Surgical Hospital in Wyomissing, Pa., nearly 5,000 surgeries are performed annually, including plastic surgery.

The company intends to acquire real estate assets located throughout the country and abroad. ‘Mission critical’ real estate assets are “purpose-built facilities” to support the most essential operations, according to the release.
